Kayla Ichiba is a third year audiology doctorate student at the University of Arizona. She received her Bachelors of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona. Kayla is a research assistant in the Arizona Human Electrophysiology Auditory Development Lab, conducting research on binaural processes using auditory evoked potentials. She is also a part of the Arizona Sonoran Border Project team. This non-governmental organization provides audiologic services to the underserved region of Sonora, Mexico. Kayla is excited to work on ArizonaLEND's multidisciplinary team and for all the opportunities to garner more knowledge about maternal and child care.
