Julie Thein

Julie is a third year audiology doctoral student and rehabilitation counseling minor at the University of Arizona.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Special Education from the Pennsylvania State University.  She has always had an interest in pediatrics and wants to work as a pediatric audiologist following graduate school.  She currently is one of the program assistants for the Protect Your Ears Program, which focuses on educating children in after-school programs about the importance of protecting their hearing.  As a LEND trainee, she is excited to gain multidisciplinary knowledge and leadership skills that will help her provide the best care possible for her future patients.
