I am interested in the AZLEND training program because of the interdisciplinary approach and focus on collaboration. Families require a wide array of specialty services to meet the health care needs of children with disabilities, especially early on when they are first learning about their child's needs. I hope to build a knowledge base of neurodevelopmental and related disorders in an effort to better recognize when I see them, facilitate communication among providers, and connect providers to families requiring services.
