Danielle is a third year graduate student in audiology at the University of Arizona. She graduated with a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a minor in Developmental Disabilities from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013. She currently leads the Protect Your Ears Program at the University of Arizona, a program focused on educating children in after-school programs about the importance of protecting their hearing. She has always had a specific interest in pediatrics and wants to work as a pediatric audiologist following graduate school. As a LEND fellow, she wants to improve her leadership skills so she can competently work side by side with other pediatric service providers. She is hoping that the various seminars and clinical experiences will shed light on the journey a family takes when their child has a disability.
