As a graduate student in speech-language pathology at the University of Arizona, I am in a great position to develop my interpersonal leadership skills alongside my competence as a healthcare provider. I am participating in ArizonaLEND because I know that this program will help me further develop the capabilities that are necessary to make a strong impact as a clinician. I plan to use the knowledge I gain through ArizonaLEND to maximize the success of my professional interactions, and design and carry out strategic improvements in my future places of work. My overarching goal is to promote fruitful, family-centered clinical practice for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
On a personal note, I love my dogs, my bird, gardening, and dance!
