Autism Spectrum: The View From Here
ArizonaLEND alumni, LeAnna Lucero, will be presenting at the Autism Conference at UC Davis, September 5th and 6th, 2018. Her presentation is, "Interventions that help youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder cope with stress of hospitalization," and it focuses on working with children with Autism and how to make the healthcare setting less overwhelming by discussing some ways healthcare providers can address a variety of sensory needs, and provides educational information about Autism and sensory processing disorders.
