Yvonne Bueno is an Occupational Therapist who has loved working in the field of pediatric occupational therapy for the past 20 years in California, Colorado, and Arizona. She received her BS, in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1997. After several years of serving children and families dealing with a variety of challenges, she decided to pursue a Master in Public Health (MPH) degree in 2014 from the University of Arizona’s College of Public Health. Currently, Yvonne is a third-year doctoral student, pursuing her doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) in maternal and child health, with a minor in Health Psychology. Yvonne is very motivated to expand her career in maternal and child health. She is grateful and optimistic that Arizona LEND can provide the perfect opportunity to blend her skill sets from occupational therapy and public health to launch her into becoming a future maternal and child health leader.
