Jordan Schwalbach

Jordan has his master’s degree in Special Education with a focus on Education for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. He has experience teaching language and literacy to children who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing, aged 3 to 8 years of age. Jordan has special interests in variables that contribute to improved educational and life outcomes for people who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. He is an intermediate signer, and has been trained in the Moog Center of Deaf Education approach to teaching language acquisition. He is currently a LEND trainee and has presented research about on-line learning, working with Dr. Shirin Antia and Dr. Kathryn Kreimeyer.
