I am a lawyer and the father of a 15 year old girl with Down Syndrome, and am currently pursuing a Master of Administration degree, with a concentration in Disability Studies, at Northern Arizona University. I hope my education and experience in the AZLEND program will enable me to be a better advocate--in the courtroom and in the policy arena--for persons with disabilities, to help individuals and families connect, organize, and advocate for themselves, and to help develop programs and services for people in underserved communities.
