Athena Luong is a third year audiology doctoral student and rehabilitation counseling minor at the University of Arizona. She graduated with a B.A. in Criminology, Law, and Society and a minor in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine. She also has a post-baccalaureate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University. Athena has always had a passion for pediatrics and is working towards a career as a pediatric audiologist following graduation in 2020. As a LEND trainee, she is excited to collaborate with other professionals and develop the leadership skills necessary to provide the best quality of care in the lives of those affected by neurodevelopmental disabilities.
