James Dean, AuD

Dr. James “Jim” Dean is a Pediatric Audiologist and Senior Lecturer in Audiology in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona. He is also a member of the Arizona Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (AzLEND) program faculty, with a cross appointment in the University of Arizona Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics. Jim has published in the areas of pediatric audiology and has over 30 years of experience working with children and their families.  In addition to teaching at the University of Arizona, Jim provides pediatric audiology services at the Tucson Medical Center, Pediatric Therapies Department.   Jim has a special interest in service to underserved populations and he is a member of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Multicultural Council.
