  • Problem Solving: Z-Style
  • Dealing with problematic people – difficult conversations
  • Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Resolution
  • Small group practice - role play

Research:

  • Research in Practice
  • What does evidence-based research really mean?
  • What are the rules for evidence-based practice?
  • Groups discussion related to interdisciplinary fields
  • Journal Club #4 (Two Fellows contribute seminal or emerging research; 20 minutes per person)
  • Contributing Fellow presents a 3-5 minute overview of the article
  • Fellows meet in small groups for 5 minutes to discuss the article
  • Large group discussion about article strengths and weaknesses and the “takeaway”
